Markus Wischenbart Talks Tourism, New Cabarete Project
Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club is getting set to reveal its latest project—the new Imperial Suites and Presidential Suites in the resort town of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic’s Puerto Plata province. As the president of Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, Mark Wischenbart is here to discuss this new project and tourism in the Dominican Republic as a whole.
Markus Wischenbart is proud of the impact public-private investment like that of Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club has had in recent years in Puerto Plata, which is considered one of the Dominican Republic’s most popular tourist destinations. He hopes to bring the same favorable impact on the new Cabarete location.
Thanks to Mark Wischenbart and the growth of Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, there are new rooms, hotel complexes that integrate the ecological with the all-inclusive, an amphitheater for fit for international artists, and the Amber Cove terminal of the Bay of Maimon that all make Puerto Plata an amazing tourist destination.
If you’re still not convinced, the proof of Puerto Plata’s revitalization is in the numbers. According to statistical data from the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, the city has had 310,880 tourists with 9.1 percent of them traveling by air.
“It is with developments such as Villa Park and the new Imperial Suites and Presidential Suites by Lifestyles that keeps tourists coming back again and again, we always try and offer variety and new and exciting areas to our members and guests alike, we are never complacent and always evolving,” – Mark Wischenbart
Mark Wischenbart and his wife Anja have been extremely influential when it comes to bringing tourism to the north coast of the Dominican Republic. They hope to continue this expansion by opening the new location in Cabarete.
Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club members are expected to flock to the new suites in Cabarete, which has long been known as a surfer’s paradise.
“The occupation for us is very pleasing. We maintain a very good occupancy level including in the low season, we are continually renovating our pool areas and properties in line with the demand of our guests, couple this with the resurgence and investment in Puerto Plata of late and you can see the infrastructure of the city has been greatly improved and a lot of investment has been implemented.” – Mark Wischenbart
In continuance of the work done by the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur), Mark Wischenbart hopes to continue Cabarete’s prosperous growth.
